The widow of Slipknot bassist Paul Gray claims she was left to confront her husband about his drug use all on her own in the days before his death.

The Des Moines Register says Brenna Gray was in court this week giving testimony against Daniel Baldi, the doctor currently on trial for involuntary manslaughter in the deaths of Gray and eight others.

Brenna says she was worried about Paul in what turned out to be his final days.  She contacted Baldi and Paul's Slipknot bandmates, but she testified that "nobody else cared" and nobody got involved.  Brenna says they all told her it was her problem.

Brenna also testified that she raised concerns about why Baldi continued to prescribe Paul the anti-anxiety drug Xanax even though he had a history of abusing it.

Paul Gray was found dead of a morphine overdose in 2010.  He was 38.  Baldi denies responsibility in all nine of the deaths he's been charged  with.  If convicted, he could face up to 18 years in prison.
