I MET CHYLER LEIGH AND NATHAN WEST AND WAS TRYING SO HARD NOT TO FANGIRL.

YOU SEE THIS PICTURE. I MAY LOOK CALM BUT ON THE INSIDE I WAS SHAKING LIKE A LEAF.

Chyler Leigh and Nathan West are so genuinely nice and kind hearted and want their fans, of both the music and the show, to feel loved and to never give up and that is extremely admirable in my book.

For once in my life, I didn't let the moment escape me, and ask the wonderful pair if I could chat with them for a little bit. Nathan graciously said after the concert he would love to do an interview. THE LEAF SHAKING NERVES SKYROCKETED.

I sat and waited for the pair to calm down from their performance. (I was not calm. NERVES.) After about 15 minutes, the production manager lead me to their dressing room, where they were talking about how the previous night's performance had...rough waters. (They performed on a boat.)

After discussing West's music and inspiration that he hopes to pay forward to his fans and listeners, I switched gears to Chyler and Supergirl.

The season returns with it's 14th episode on April 16th, and Alex Danvers has had a very tough ride in the beginning of the season. Dealing with the breakup of her first actual relationship, with someone who helped her discover herself, is a hard thing to grasp for the character, but Leigh was nice enough to let us know that fans will not be let down.

"It's actually such an amazing episode, and I'm super stoked that that's...no pun intended...I always do that," Leigh drops her head in laughter, "But, you see everybody, the opening beginning is like, we're all singing karaoke at the, so you hear everybody singing, so it's a great way to come back when we do."

She also assured me that Alex would be okay, 'cause I was worried there for a second.

"Something really cool for Alex and I'm really excited about something that I've wanted since season one. So it's going to happen. I'm happy. I'm stoked and you'll see. You'll see what I mean! You'll go like *snaps* that's what she was saying!"

Chyler Leigh Interview

Oh, and also, they hugged me, and THANKED ME. I should be thanking YOU!

Your portrayal and hope and kind words have helped so many overcome their hardships when it comes to coming to terms with themselves. East Of Eli not only helps bring these fans hope but also provides a sense of harmony between both Supergirl and music.

"I think one thing that we've come to like what we're watching this journey. Yes, there was a big draw was when people like Sanvers [LGBTQ Supergirl characters] fans, people that are fans of a Supergirl, but they're coming in. There's kind of like that that are like, 'Oh wow, we get a chance to do, you know, to meet her, to meet him, to like be part of that process,' and we started to talk to these fans and they're sharing from like this depth in their soul and they sit there and they start, even if they started out for something like that, they're listening to the songs and his lyrics and his message and his story and everything that he sharing, and that's the draw. And it's amazing because when I get to be a part of it, it's icing."

Oh, by the way, have I mentioned they've been together for over 15 years? #RELATIONSHIPGOALS
